Kucinich goes Effie!

Dark horse Democratic candidate Dennis Kucinich looked to further woo the gay vote earlier this month following HRC/Logo’s gay forum. Kucinich already won over many Weho Queens and Los Feliz Lezzie’s by voicing his full support for same sex marriage but he wanted to further set himself a part. He knew John Edwards with his boyish good looks could cost him votes among gay men. To combat this Dennis decided to turn it up a notch on the fierce-o-meter. After the forum was voter and everybody started to leave Kucinich refused to leave the stage. When Illinois Senator Barrack Obama said, “Yo, Den you commin’ bro?” Kucinich broke into a rousing version of “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” from the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack. As he hit the final high notes even New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton declared, “You go girlfriend!”

It seems to have worked. In a recent poll conducted by Fake gossip News 67% of Gay Men support Dennis Kucinich as compared to 25% before he sung at the forum. A top gay male plastic surgeon in Manhattan told Fake Gossip News, “I’ll fix his face. By the time I’m done with him he’ll have the face of Brad Pitt with the voice of Jennifer
Holiday.” Even Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson chimed in declaring “I’m sure glad he wasn’t sup for the movie role. Who knew a skinny white guy could make such a sassy Effie.”
